10 Branches Win Food Drive Awards
| 10 Branches Win Food Drive Awards The record 73.4 million pounds of food collected in the 2009 Letter Carriers’ National Food Drive came because of a determined effort by NALC branches all across the country to succeed despite the nation’s economic downturn. The 10 branches below were the tops in their membership categories in the amount of non-perishable food collected along their postal routes, according to results received at NALC headquarters. They will be awarded a special NALC plaque and a food bank selected by each branch will receive 1,000 cans of soup from Campbell Soup Company.
