Dear Branch Presidents, State Officers, and CDL's,

During the Florida State Convention in June, I revealed that plans were being made for a COLCPE contest that every Branch in the State could participate in. A list of contributors was provided to each Branch and all were advised to get started immediately securing new contributors to COLCPE (Committee On Letter Carrier Political Education).

I am taking this opportunity to announce the Florida State Association of Letter Carriers COLCPE Contributor Contest. This contest is for Florida Letter Carriers only, and is in addition to the contest now being conducted by N.A.L.C. National Headquarters.

The contest period is from the date of the FSALC Convention (June 11, 2009) through February 15, 2010. Prizes will be awarded at the FSALC Spring Training Seminar to be held in Melbourne, March 11-14, 2010.

This COLCPE Contest will award three (3) separate prizes of $300 American Express Gift Cards! The contest is open to both active and retired COLCPE contributors. Every contributor giving at the "gimme five" level or above, at the end of the contest period will be entered into a raffle to win one of the three prizes.
